I thought the following variety of tulip was pretty interesting. It has a shredded look when it opens. So far I have been pleasantly surprised at what has come up. First the two-tone tulips and now these:
Basically no doorknobs in our house work properly. In our 3-seasons room, Lucy found out that she can push on the doors and they pop open if they aren't dead bolted. Here is her grand escape... followed by a roll on the dirt mound that is our power line trench.

What fun to discover new plants coming up. The tulip is really pretty! Looks like Lucy is enjoying the fresh air and sunshine!
Yeah, even when you have doors that close it's hard to keep those rascally cats inside. They shoot past your leg when you're not looking and risk getting banged in the butt with the door.
