Spring Has Sprung

It has been such nice weather the last several days. Levi and I have walked every day this week and I got out in the garden. Levi hangs out in his Jumperoo while I weed and rake.
Here is our bare little garden spot that mom and I cleared last year.
I finally dug out some old bubbles I had been looking for to entertain Levi. He really watches them.
Levi also enjoys a game of, "Where's Momma's nose?" and "Where is Momma's chin?" When I ask him he touches (or in this case yanks) the right spot!
My latest sewing creation: Up-cycled* monogram t-shirt.
*FYI: The term up-cycle refers to a used item remade into something else. In this case I used this boring yard sale find and spruced it up a little.

Crandall Visit!

Levi love:
Sadie went on several walks with us. She stopped off at several playgrounds for a bit of fun. This was on Jan's camera but I took it so I wanted to post it :)
Sadie LOVED playing Boggle and Five Crowns during her visit. She won a lot of her rounds of 5 Crowns and found a 5-letter word by herself in Boggle!
Sadie helped me put away the rose bush covers and clean up the dead leaves. What a help! She did it joyfully!

MORE TO COME :)

Food and Fun

Here are some hats I found for Levi at Goodwill. The beanie is for Spring and the rest I needed for summer because he has a head that has outgrown most of his other hats. One was brand new and all were $0.50 a piece.
This is Pastor Marc Anderson with his daughter Vera. Marc and his wife came over for dinner last Thursday. We all had a great time.
Over the weekend, Andrew took the youth to Pierre for a statewide youth conference. I made these Ninja bandannas with Andrew before he left. It was part of his group theme. ("Warriors for the Lord", and our own addition, "Pray for Japan!")
Here is a photo montage of Levi attempting to feed himself:
(1) "Let me just feed myself with this spoon."
(2) "Spoon feeding = too slow!"
(3) "No one will notice if I just give Lucy the rest!"

(4) "See Momma, I don't need a spoon!"
(5) "I think I have this down. Open mouth, insert plate."

6 Months!

I am a few days behind, but here is Levi's 6 month picture. I cannot believe he is already been in this world for 1/2 a year! He weighs 17 lb. 4 oz., 17 3/4 inch head circumference, 26 1/2" long. (I guess the last nurse measured him wrong. This time the Dr. measured his length.)
A sampling of my craft fair projects: magnets (sold all of them!)
Onsies (some boy ones and some girl)
Spring knitted headbands
My favorite flower on a headband, made from wired ribbon left over from our wedding!
More Taggie balls (including my new taggie football)
