There were signs everywhere saying "Laura's home this way". I had read all the Little House books growing up so I thought we needed to stop. Andrew was kind enough to agree. Here is a history of the place for those of you that have not been. (click on history)

I loved the pictures. The Little House on the Prairie are such wonderful classics. How special to be able to actually see the focus of these books!
How fun. I visited here. We have taken our kids to a couple of the other Little House Museums because we have enjoyed the books and movies.
I love the landscape where you can see for miles. That's why I don't mind the "boring" parts of Iowa. It feels safe to see so far.
