This is "The Great Pumpkin Wall".
Here were a few cutely decorated pumpkins from area grade schoolers. I thought the nieces and nephews might enjoy seeing these:

I also wanted to update you on the garden. We finally got 1 melon. Not too big but oh well, it was edible. The rest of the plant died due to lack of water and then a cold snap.
Bell peppers have survived so far as well.

The carved pumpkin faces are brilliant.
That actually looks like a pretty good melon that you grew! I've never had success with melons, so I am impressed. The pumpkin festival looks like a fun event. That's nice about a small town, lots of "in the park" events.
I love fall festivals! Those were some pretty awesome pumpkins. The kids liked the photos.
Good job on getting a melon. We tried pumpkin/watermelon/canteloupe and got nada. Stupid squash bugs!
