Lovely flowers. And nice to see Lucy again (I will have to show Grace :).
The clouds do look ominous. Cumulonimbus? I'll have to show Sadie-- she learned about clouds this year.
Love seeing your garden and sewing projects. I, too, tried smocking this week. I think I used too thick of a fabric, because it didn't rucnh quite enough, the dress down below wasn't roomy enough.
Clouds have always been so fascinating to me, and those are great photos. Lovely flowers, too. I am really going to have to try this sewing with elastic. Do you wind the bobbin by hand, then sew with regular thread on top?
